Happy New Year Everyone! Whew.... it was a lot of activity for the holidays. We had family and family and old friends and new friends. We are truly blessed. The last of our travelers left early last Sunday morning. I thought I would be back to work full force but I felt a bit zapped. I needed to breathe in before I could breath out. In the meantime, I thought I would share this little video I took of the studio/room where I paint. Perhaps it is a bit boring but I know I like to peek into other people's spaces. I am thinking tomorrow I will be back at the easel!

    I do stand and paint. You might notice in the video that I step back a lot during the painting to see better how it's coming together. The rug has suprisingly stayed pretty clean--this is a rental house so I had to put something down to protect the carpet.
